Hello, my name is Emma. Welcome to my website. I am a coloured pencil artist based on my family Dairy farm in the Cheshire countryside. I create custom pet portraits as well as original artworks of pets, farm animals and wildlife. My art is now available across a range of products including framed originals, prints, greetings cards, coasters and to do lists. I hope my art brings joy to people, whether it be a surprise birthday commission of their beloved pet or a greeting card that makes them smile.

I have a great love of pets having been around them throughout my life. Their unique personalities always inspire my work with no two animals ever the same. I always strive to capture the animals' individual characters within my work. Having worked on my family dairy farm spending a lot of time with the cows, I am also inspired by the farm animals. There are many different personalities within the herd including Daisy (loves to be first in the parlour), Orvill (loves to sneak back to the parlour for midnight snacks) and Nelly (who loves a good bum scratch).

I have been passionate about art from a young age whether crafting, drawing or photography. I became fascinated with drawing while studying art at A level focusing on human portraiture and the ability to capture someone's unique features bringing a lifelike quality to my work. It was then suggested I could draw pets and I haven’t looked back since. My business started by creating custom pet portraits initially for friends and family and then through word of mouth and social media it grew.

When I’m not drawing you can find me helping on the farm milking the cows or in the garden tending to my homegrown fruit and veg as well as cut flowers.

I thoroughly enjoy my work as an artist and feel privileged to draw everyday. I am always spurred on by the reactions from customers. Being able to capture the personality of their beloved furry friends in a custom piece of art that they can treasure is a joy to be able to create.
